Is this the end of storm chasing as we know it?

Chaser convergence has been a hot topic in the middle parts of America and within the storm chase community. It’s gotten so far that even lawmakers have talked about ways to reign in storm chasing. Is there any path forward? Is convergence even the problem that people say it is?
