The Official Word

The National Weather Service offices in Phoenix and Flagstaff anticipate drier and warmer conditions to prevail through the weekend and into much of next week as high pressure dominates. Easterly winds may gust 20 to 30 mph, with peak gusts near 35 mph across higher terrain of southcentral Arizona.
