NOWCAST
Rainfall Event Begins
Flood watches are in effect for a large portion of the region as rain begins to move in from the remnants of Hurricane Polo moving toward the Southwest and Southern Plains. The heaviest rain will occur tonight into tomorrow for portions of the Southwest and into Wednesday (with severe weather possible) for the Plains. Expect a long-duration rain event with locally heavier cores and rainfall totals. Most people should get around an inch to two inches of rain, but a few localized areas may get a few multiples of those amounts.
