May 18, 2018 Storm Chase | High Based Supercells in the Texas Panhandle

On this day we kept tabs on a few supercells over the Texas panhandle. Initially there was a tornado warning issued but the bases were just too high. However, as storms matured into the evening, the structure really improved into sunset.

Also shoutout to the red light one lane construction north of Miami, Texas on this day.

The brief bit of really good structure detail was definitely worth the drive in the evening. Our storm died quickly in the evening but we made the most of our trip with a few more shots into the evening.
